Orkan 350 SL 1 l (MCPA, Glyphosate) Synthos Agro – Herbicide
Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro is a non-selective herbicide for use in orchards, effective against both monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. It contains two active ingredients: MCPA (90 g/l) and Glyphosate (260 g/l), thereby increasing the product’s efficacy. The herbicide acts systemically; it is absorbed through the leaves and transported to the roots, inhibiting plant growth. The product is most effective during the active growth phase of weeds. It is recommended for use in pome and stone fruit orchards and, to a limited extent, in sour cherry and sweet cherry cultivation. At an application rate of 5–8 l/ha, it is effective against various weed species, although sensitivity may vary by species. The re-entry interval for the treated area is until the spray solution has completely dried, while the pre-harvest interval for apples is 7 days.

🧪 Active ingredient content – Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro

Glyphosate (a compound from the aminophosphonic acid group) – 260 g/l (22.75%).
🌿 Orkan – Effective against weeds in orchards
The Orkan product contains two active ingredients. The active ingredient glyphosate inhibits the synthesis in plants of proteins necessary for plant growth. MCPA inhibits the action of plant hormones responsible for cell division. This causes deformation of leaves and stems, stunted growth and plant development, followed by chlorosis, necrosis, and the drying out of plants.
Orkan 350 SL is absorbed through the leaves and then rapidly transported to the roots of the weeds. It is most effective when applied during the weeds' active growth phase. The first visible signs of its effect on weeds appear 7–14 days after treatment. The weeds die after about 30 days. High temperatures and humidity, as well as intense sunlight, accelerate the product's action.
