Orkan 350 SL 20L (MCPA, Glyphosate) Synthos Agro
Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro is a non-selective herbicide for use in orchards, effective against both monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. It contains two active ingredients: MCPA (90 g/l) and Glyphosate (260 g/l), which increases the effectiveness of the product. The herbicide acts systemically, is absorbed through the leaves and transported to the roots, inhibiting plant growth. The product works best during the intensive growth phase of weeds. It is recommended for use in pome and stone fruit orchards and, to a limited extent, in sour and sweet cherry cultivation. It is effective at an application rate of 5–8 l/ha against various weed species, although sensitivity may vary between species. The re-entry interval is until the spray mixture has completely dried, while the pre-harvest interval for apples is 7 days.

🧪 Active ingredient content – Orkan 350 SL Synthos Agro

Glyphosate (a compound from the aminophosphonic acid group) – 260 g/l (22.75%).
🌿 Orkan – Effect against weeds in orchards
The Orkan product contains two active ingredients. The active ingredient glyphosate inhibits the synthesis in plants of proteins necessary for plant growth. MCPA inhibits the action of plant hormones responsible for cell division. This causes deformities in leaves and stems, stunted growth and poor development, followed by chlorosis, necrosis and drying out of the plants.
Orkan 350 SL is absorbed through the leaves and then quickly transported to the roots of the weeds. It is most effective when applied during the weeds’ intensive growth phase. The first visible signs of its effect on the weeds appear 7–14 days after treatment. The weeds die after about 30 days. High temperatures and humidity, along with intense sunlight, accelerate the product’s effect.
